City and IPG as Leader
Initiatives Prince George (IPG) will lead the development of integrated innovation and entrepreneurship programs in order to grow the knowledge-based economy of Prince George.
City and IPG as Support or Participant
IPG will work in partnership with the UNBC, College of New Caledonia, University Hospital of Northern British Columbia, Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society, and private training organizations on job diversity and accessibility as required.
Community Complimentary Strategies
The City and IPG support the Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment and Training Association’s (PGNAETA) provision of services in the field of aboriginal human resource development, with initiatives aimed at increasing the opportunity for aboriginal people to impact local economies. PGNAETA delivers locally designed and appropriate employment training to Aboriginal persons and works with the business community to increase the amount and quality of Aboriginal job opportunities in the region.

Establishment of the Northern Engineering Program
Expansion of CNC and UNBC programs and research to meet business and community
