Scenarios Workshop - February 11 & 12, 2010
The two day Scenarios Workshop explored external factors that may affect Prince George in the future, and developed scenarios that may describe alternate futures for Prince George. These scenarios are intended to “test” the actions (strategies) developed in the myPG workshops. The community participated in a pre-workshop idea gathering exercise from February 2 to 9, posting ideas and voting on posted ideas using the web tool Ideascale. Top rated ideas from the community were one of many input sources to the workshop.
Testing actions or strategies as they are developed against possible future conditions we can predict allows the strategy a better chance to work under actual future conditions, which we can’t predict.
